Shawnigan Lake is a growing community situated north of Victoria, south of Duncan and west of Mill Bay on Vancouver Island in British Columbia.
A concise history of Shawnigan Lake can be found on the Shawnigan Lake Museum website and the Museum, situated at the village center, is well worth a visit.
While here drop by one of the excellent coffee shops, Bakery, or for a bite to eat! There are lots of options for you in the Village.
It is a friendly place to stop, fuel up, enjoy the goodies noted above, do a bit of shopping and wandering.
